- Improving socioeconomics of schools by decreasing reliance of schools on funding for school food and community food supply
- Support connecting of the younger generation to culture and land (from spiritual and practical element)
- Integration of wider community into school garden
- Implemented by Pacific Blue Foundation who support management with local traditional governance/leaders and school mother’s group
